Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow commercial interiors end user relationships year over year by an agreed upon percentage increase
  • Build and maintain business relationships with Facility Managers, Space Planners, C Level Executives, and related decision makers
  • Build and maintain relationships with Architecture and Design Firms, Commercial Furniture Dealers and other strategic resellers
  • Stay up to date with market trends
  • Prepare strategic business plan to ensure growth
  • Negotiate and implement purchasing agreements and standards with end user companies
  • Self-generate new sales opportunities monthly and coordinate efforts with sales management

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or sales related activities
  • Experience calling on facilities and planning, preferably for premium product offerings
  • Experience in the commercial furniture or similar industry strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in business development with demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work autonomously, under management direction
  • Provide regular sales reports to executive management
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required, experience working with a CRM system preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
